LEGOLAND California Resort’s Castle Hotel reopens soon

The LEGOLAND California team have announced a reopening date for the Castle Hotel, although the main theme park remains closed.

LEGOLAND California Resort’s theme park may be closed due to the ongoing pandemic, but according to the latest guidelines put in place by Governor Gavin Newsom, the Castle Hotel has been cleared to reopen, with a new set of rules to follow for the customers.

Guests of the Castle Hotel, which will reopen on February 12 after being closed for two months, will experience reduced capacity, cashless payments, social distancing and improved cleaning practices across all facilities. Additionally, all guests over the age of three will be required to wear a face mask at all times, a rule that staff will also follow.

When checking in, overnight guests will also have their temperature taken. With the closure of the main park, some of the usual incentives for staying at the Castle Hotel no longer apply, such as early access to some of the resort’s most popular attractions. However, guests will still be able to explore Miniland USA as this part of the park remains open.

The Grande Boutique also remains open to visitors, as well as an online version available. However, those shopping in person will be able to see the first, second and third prize winners of LEGO Masters USA for a limited time.
