The Build and Race experience was designed to engage both Ferrari and LEGO enthusiasts of all ages, aligning with Ferrari’s strategy of reaching out to its youngest fans, âsaid the Rental Director Based Entertainment & Esports for Ferrari Annabel Rochfort.
Build and Race offers three areas designed to be interactive and inspiring. A member of the LEGO Pit crew will greet guests as they enter the attraction, sharing fun facts about Ferrari, racing history, and showcasing themed LEGO racing gear and rewards. Once inside the garage, guests have the option to sit in a full-size Ferrari F40 model developed by the LEGO Group and have their photo taken. The journey continues as guests tap into their creativity and build their own LEGO Ferrari car to race on one of three circuits which include the test area, the steering test track and the speed. Each track offers guests different obstacles, challenges and a chance to score the best time. A DUPLOÂ® The construction zone offers the youngest the possibility to let their imagination run free and also design their own creation from larger bricks! The mechanics and crew of the LEGO minifigures will inspire inspiration throughout the experience.
Finally, once guests have personalized their vehicles, cleared obstacles and heard the engines roar, they can create a personalized digital Ferrari racing car. Guests can digitally scan their vehicle and further customize their Ferrari with their miniature racing driver. Once completed, the cars are digitally projected onto a LEGO race track based on the Pista di Fiorano (a private race track owned by Ferrari primarily for development and testing purposes) and guests can compete digitally with others. cars for the fastest racing lap!
